Week Three:
Monday: September 21, 2015
--Sixth day teaching, Chelsea stayed in Sanur for another night so she was not here for teaching. Morgan another volunteer was in the turtle conservation program and she wanted to come back and start the kindergarten program because she missed hanging with the group at the Sudi house. I woke up around 7ish to get ready for the day, I came up stairs to see if Morgan was wake and she came out and said that her alarm did not go off. As she was getting ready, I started to plan what the lesson for today was going to be. I said don't rush we still have plenty of time to get to the office and eat. We made it to the office in enough time to eat. After eating we sat down waiting for the ride to the school. One of the coordinators came over and told us that today the school was on a field trip so we had the day off. Morgan and I then went to Kopi Desa a little cafe that we all "Love" and had coffee. After leaving Kopi Desa we went back to the house and chilled before lunch. After lunch most of the volunteers had to go and teach, so Morgan and I went into the city little shopping and we did great I spent about 20 U.S. dollars on five items. Then we went for a drink at Cafe Lotus. We both got a Blue Lagoon mix drink. After that we walked around to look at the lotus plant that where in pound. We headed back to the volunteer house but before we reached the house we went and picked up laundry that we had dropped off earlier in the morning. We reached the volunteer house and I told Morgan that I needed to run up to the office to get copies made. I headed back down to the volunteer house but I grabbed a coffee drink from Kopi Desa. Once I got back to the house I went and laid on my bed. After laying in the bed for a little while dinner was here. The dinner tonight was not so good. Some of us are at Kopi Desa eating and having a drink. We are also trying to decide what we are going to do this weekend. Finally after getting it all figured out we are staying at the Love F Hotel by Fashion TV, in Legain.
Tuesday: September 22, 2015
--Seventh day teaching and the kids are more relaxed when Chelsea and I are coming into the room to teach. They still have issues with acting up during class but these children are still so cute. I was working on a lesson plan on Sunday for Monday but did not get to use it, so we used that lesson today. I had copies made of the alphabet, where the kids had to fill in the blanket spaces where the letter are not at. Then we went back over flash cards that we made and also let them color the pictures. Chelsea had bought white boards with activities so we also let them play on the boards for a little while. After this short day, Morgan and me went to Kopi Desa for a coffee. We had the coffee and went back to the house and feel a sleep before lunch. After eating lunch I was still tired so I went back to bed and read my book. When dinner arrived we ate and discussed about going to see this guy who plays his guitar at Kopi Desa. He was going to be playing at his restaurant "Cupit Bqq". We went early enough that we got a good view, right in front of the stage. One of our group member got up and sang with the guy. Around 10 some of us wanted to go back to the house, so we could go to bed.
Wednesday: September 23, 2015
--Seventh day teaching,even those I tried to make a lesson plan for today, I could not come up with enough thing for the kids to do. I also taught by myself again, I went over number and the alphabet with the children. After that we played a little game where the children had to say the number or letter I wanted them to say. Some of the children had a hard time remembering the letter or number so I had to help them out. After the lesson was over went back to Kopi Desa and had a cup of coffee before heading to the house for lunch. When I got back to the house, I had a text message from Morgan saying that if sleep until one will you wake me up. Well, then it was around 12 and Morgan came out of the room and said I am going to eat and then head to the pool. Morgan and I headed to the pool. The pool was nice and the drinks where expansive so we got to beer and a "Green Drink", I don't remember what was in the green drink, but it was good. We just chilled by the pool until dinner. We walk back to the house and also took a little nap after the dinner. We all then wanted to come to Kopi Desa to watch "The Proposal". When the movie was over we all went back to the house and went to bed, because Morgan and I had to get up at 6 for a shuttel pick up.

Thursday: September 24,2015
-- Eighths day teaching, No class it was canceled because of a holiday that they celebrate. Morgan and I talked about doing something with Elephants. So we found this place that had bathing, swimming and riding elephants. The Elephant Safari Park and Lodge is in Taro, Ubud and this is where we went at and had an awesome time hanging with elephants. The program first started with cleaning the elephants skin, it felt very weird Not what you think it would feel like it was rough and hairy. After bathing the elephant we went into the little swimming area and got sit bare back on the elephants while they went swimming. After swimming we went and took a shower before eating breakfast When eating breakfast they brought one of the baby elephants to the swimming area and I had to get up and take a picture of the baby and mother. After eating we got ready for riding on top of the elephant threw the park area. These elephants get treated very well by the trainers, I would tell anyone who comes to Bali to go to the Elephant Safari Park and Lodge to get this incredible
experience. These elephants are called Sumatran, and one of the most rare and endangered species left in the world.

After the Elephant Park we got dropped off at Kopi Desa and had lunch before heading to the pool. Morgan and I meet up with another volunteer, Adrianne because she wanted to go to the pool. We went and chilled by the pool before dinner. Dinner it is like buffet style, it is to welcome new volunteer's and say goodbye to volunteer's who are leaving. We had three people who are leaving this weekend, it is very sad that they are leaving. After dinner we all wanted to watch Eat Pray Love. I had downloaded the movie the other day so we went back and watched it. We had brought out the matresses from the bunks and laid them on the floor so we could all watch the movie. I had fallen a sleep durning part of the movie. After the movie we all went to sleep.
Friday: September 25, 2015
-- Ninths day teaching, well it was an optional day for us to go and teach, so most of us went ahead a took the day of because we where going to head to Legian a city that is close to Kuta. Let just say once we got to the hotel, "Love F Hotel" this has been the nicest place we have stayed so far. We walked in and got a free tea drink while we where getting checked in. We got two rooms one was on two and the other was on five. On the fifth floor there was a jacuzzi bar with chairs to lay out. We watched the sunset, before going to dinner. We got ready for a night out celebrate my birthday. We where going to eat at the hotel but the restaurants had a very expansive menu. After seeing that we walked down the road to this little place right near the road called "The 101". It was good. After we did that we also had a club in the hotel so we went and checked it out, the drinks where also really expansive so we called it a night.
Saturday & Sunday: September 26-27, 2015
--Its my Birthday!! Saturday was the day that Adrianne left to go back home. Adrianne, Flav, and I where up before the other two so we went down and had breakfast before saying goodbye. Before Adrianne left she had to go back up to the room to grab a few thing, and that when we woke the two other girls up. After saying goodbye the two other girls had breakfast and we then went shopping.After trying to find clothes for going out in we went to the beach. Well we had to walk to the beach it was about 1 mile away from the hotel. The walk took us about 12 minutes. Once we got to the beach, it was like a normal beach not a lot of thing to take picture. "Most of the beaches we have been to had a lot of scenery to take pictures". The water here was cold and cloudy looking. We stayed on the beach until sunset. It was a nice evening to see the sunset over the Indian Ocean. When the sunset was over we started walking back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. We ate dinner at Croti Legian, we saw it on the way back it had a very good happy hour. We went to this place and we had pizza and some beer. When dinner was done with, we head to the market store next to the hotel to buy some more beer. We invited some more friends we made at the house to come back to the hotel and to come out with us,because they where staying in Kuta for the weekend. After having a few drink back in the hotel room we played drinking game. After that we headed up stairs where the hotel club was. This weekend was there 1st year anniversary, so they had a fashion show going on but let just say it was not a fashion show at all. They had belly dancers and much more. Well it was a fun night we got to go and dance on the stage during the show it was a good time. Well Happy Birthday to me!
After a long night out, I could not sleep I was up at 5;45 in the morning. Well today was a nice relaxing day, Flav leaves for the airport around 4 pm. Flav and I woke up around the same time, I had to get out of the room for a little in the morning so I went to the 3rd floor where they had chairs that I could lay down and edit photos. After working on photos for about and hour I went back to the room and tried to lay down for a little while. I was just not feeling it so Flav and I went down and ate breakfast. The girls told us the night before if they are not up at 10 to go and wake them up, so I went around 10:15 to wake them up. After waking them up we headed down stair so the girls could eat. After eating we headed back to the room to pack because we need to be out of the room by noon. We brought the bag up to the girls room because Morgan was staying another night because she leaves for the airport Monday afternoon. After checking out I went back to the girls room and they where watching Maleficent. We all wanted to watch the movie before going to the pool, or we would have been in the sun all day and got burnt. The group did not want to use the hotel pools, we wanted to use the pool next door that had a bar attached to it. We stayed at the pool until Flav had to go back and get ready to leave. After Flav had left we went out for dinner at Mamma Mia, and I got chicken mac&cheese it was really good. After that we went back to the hotel and chilled before we had to leave for Ubud. We relax in the room before calling a taxi, once the taxi got to the hotel, it was very hard saying good bye to Morgan. Suprina and I got into the taxi and both had a little melt down on the way back to Ubud. The taxi took about an hour and half beacuse we hit some traffic on the way, once we got back to the volunteer house I went staright to bed.
WOW heading into week four, this week went by fast!
